In the build up for the Eddie the Eagle film release, GRM were approached by Lionsgate Films to promote the movie in Glasgow. Glasgow was chosen because at the time, Glasgow has the largest amount of cinema go-ers per head of population in the UK. 

GRM organised that Eddie would come up and visit the Newmilns ski club in Ayrshire, where he was meeted and greeted by media, press, school children and fans. 

The following day there was a private showing in the Silverburn Cineworld of the Eddie the Eagle movie. Before the film was shown, there was a question and answer session with Eddie himself which involved young skiers and the press. 

Following the screening, GRM organised a photoshoot at the local ski club in Bellahouston which also invited the Scottish Media. 

This was a fantastic opportunity to promote the Eddie the Eagle film in Glasgow as well as inspire many young skiers who have Olympic dreams.
