Enda O Coineen, an Irish entrepreneur who is passionate about sailing, appointed us.

We knew Edna as he owned one of the Vendee Imoca 60 racing yachts that GRM had tried to buy for £1.2 Million Euros from Enda for a previous client. We had been having on going meetings with Enda in 2015 and it became clear he himself had a passion to race in The Vendee Globe for Ireland and to be the first Irishman to do so. Enda also had a great team of Irish world-class sailors that he wanted to help with this process.

Enda approached GRM and asked if we would work with him. It seemed an impossible task but Enda O Coineen is a man who enjoys a challenge - a very courageous man in both business and yacht racing who only works with people who can accept his high standards.

The first task was to create a brand and we worked as part of the creative team on that as a start point. We created a marketing plan and a commercial plan, very aware that there was not much time left.

We based ourself in Dublin and worked with Enda's team, helping and advising on commercial and marketing strategy and introducing commercial partners to Team Ireland.

The project achieved all its objectives although Kilcullen Voyager lost her mast in The South Pacific and had to consider their options, choosing the tough response to try and carry on.

Team Ireland completed the Team Ireland circumnavigation round the world which was celebrated all over Ireland! GRM became part of that incredible Team.
